iQOO Z11x Launched in India: The Battery King Under Rs 20000

Honestly, iQOO has been on a roll lately. After launching the premium iQOO 15 series, they have now come down to the budget segment with the iQOO Z11x and to be fair, this one is clearly built for a very specific kind of buyer. A 7200mAh battery phone under Rs 20000.

That is, by far, the largest battery in this price segment right now and no doubt it is the whole reason this phone exists. The iQOO Z11x goes on sale starting March 16 at 12PM on Amazon, iQOO’s official website, Vivo exclusive stores, and offline retail stores. So if you are already interested, you do not have long to wait.

Pricing: Three Options to Pick From

To begin with, here are the prices:

6GB plus 128GB at Rs 18,999 8GB plus 128GB at Rs 20,999 8GB plus 256GB at Rs 22,999

By the way, if you are buying early, iQOO is offering a Rs 2,000 instant discount on Axis Bank and SBI Bank credit cards. So basically the 6GB model can come down to Rs 16,999 if you have either of those cards. That is, to say the least, a seriously good deal for what this phone offers.

The phone comes in two colours: Titanic Black and Prismatic Green. Both have different rear designs so they do not look identical to each other, which is a nice touch. From the looks of it, Prismatic Green especially looks really fresh and different from the usual black and blue options most budget phones give you.

Display: LCD in 2026

To be honest, this is the one thing that will make some people think twice. The iQOO Z11x has a 6.76 inch LCD display with FHD plus resolution, 120Hz refresh rate and 1,300 nits of peak brightness.

At this price in 2026, most phones are already giving you AMOLED screens. AMOLED panels have deeper blacks, punchier colours, and generally look more premium day by day. The LCD panel on the Z11x will look fine for daily use, watching YouTube, browsing, and general stuff.

However, if you are someone who particularly cares about display quality and colour richness, this is clearly a trade off iQOO made to keep the battery so large at this price.

To put it simply, it is not a bad screen. It is just not the best screen available at Rs 20,000 right now. At first glance it looks perfectly fine but once you put it next to an AMOLED phone, the difference shows. That said, for the most part, regular everyday users will not think about it at all.

Processor

It runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Turbo, a 4nm chip clocked at 2.6GHz. This chip has already appeared on several phones over the past year so we know exactly how it performs in real life. For daily use like social media, calls, streaming and light gaming it runs smoothly and consistently.

I think iQOO made a smart choice here because a tried and tested chip means no surprises and no random issues showing up over time. It comes with UFS 3.1 storage which is faster than the UFS 2.1 and 2.2 storage you still find on cheaper phones.

In practice the difference is not massive but apps open a little quicker and file transfers happen faster especially if you move photos and videos around from time to time. Step by step these small things add up to a smoother overall experience.

Battery

Okay so this is obviously the main story here and I believe iQOO deserves real credit for this. The iQOO Z11x has a 7,200mAh battery with 44W fast charging and no other phone under Rs 20,000 in India right now has a battery this large. No wonder people are already talking about it.

In reality this means heavy users, people who game for hours, people who travel and cannot always find a charger, all of them can use this phone through a full day and probably still have battery left the next morning.

In fact with moderate use a 7,200mAh battery will genuinely last close to two full days. Day by day you will just stop thinking about charging altogether and honestly that is such a good feeling to have.

The 44W fast charging is decent. It is not the fastest at this price but since the battery is so large even a 30 minute charge gives you enough power to last several more hours. On balance it works out really well.

Cameras

The rear camera has a 50MP Sony IMX852 primary sensor and a 2MP bokeh lens. To start with the Sony IMX852 is a well known and well tested sensor. It takes clean and natural looking photos in good daylight. For everyday moments, food photos, outdoor shots and casual clicking it does a solid job and generally produces results you will be happy sharing right away.

However there is no OIS on this phone. Without OIS, low light photos and videos can come out blurry or shaky especially if your hands move even slightly. So if you often take photos indoors or at night, the results will sometimes disappoint you. To be clear this is a real limitation and not something to overlook if photography is important to you.

On the other hand the phone records 4K video at 30fps which is a nice feature for people who shoot short videos and reels. The 32MP front camera handles selfies well in good light and works fine for video calls. At least the front camera does its job without any complaints.

Software and Extra Features

The Z11x runs OriginOS 6 (Android 16). In practice it feels cleaner and faster than the older Funtouch OS. iQOO has promised two major OS updates and four years of security updates. To be fair that is a solid commitment for a budget phone and it means you will not be stuck on an outdated Android version too soon.

It also has IP68 and IP69 water and dust resistance. At Rs 18,999 this is without doubt seriously impressive. Most phones at this price barely manage IP52 or IP54. IP69 means it handles high pressure water jets not just light splashes. So even if you get caught in heavy rain this phone takes it without any issue.

It also has an IR blaster so you can control your TV, AC and set top box right from your phone. The LED ring light on the back lights up for calls and notifications which is a small but fun detail. In addition the ultrasonic fingerprint sensor is faster and more accurate than the basic optical sensors you usually get at this price.

Should You Buy the iQOO Z11x?

All in all the iQOO Z11x is a very focused phone. It does not try to be everything to everyone. Instead it picks battery life and durability as its two biggest strengths and delivers on both without hesitation. To sum up at Rs 18,999 this is honestly one of the most practical budget phones launched in India recently.

Buy it if long battery life is the most important thing for you. Buy it if you want IP69 protection under Rs 20,000. Skip it if a good AMOLED display matters a lot to you or if you need OIS for low light photography. For everyone else, the iQOO Z11x is definitely worth your attention right now.
